The Association of Public Safety Communications Officials (APCO) International is the world's largest professional organization dedicated to the enhancement of public safety communications. APCO International serves the professional needs of its 15,000 members worldwide by creating a platform for setting professional standards, addressing professional issues and providing education, products and services for people who manage, operate, maintain and supply the communications systems used by police, fire, and emergency medical dispatch agencies throughout the world.
Alliance for Telecommunications Industry Solutions (ATIS). ATIS is a leading standards development and technical planning organization committed to rapidly developing and promoting technical and operations standards for the communications and related information technologies industry worldwide. Participants from more than 300 communications companies are active in ATIS' 22 industry committees.
CDMA Development Group (CDG). CDG is an international consortium of companies who have joined together to lead the adoption and evolution of 3G CDMA wireless systems around the world. The CDG is comprised of CDMA service providers and manufacturers, application developers and content providers. By working together, the members help to ensure interoperability among systems, while expediting the availability of 3G CDMA technology to consumers.
The Connected Vehicle Trade Association (CVTA) is a non-profit business league established to facilitate the interaction, and advance the interests, of the entities involved in the vehicle communication environment. The Connected Vehicle Trade Association enables the collaboration of companies, organizations, and governmental bodies engaged in developing bidirectional vehicle communications. Membership is open to any corporation (except automakers), public entities, standards and specification organizations, educational institutions and qualified individuals.
European Emergency Number Associations (EENA). EENA is a non-profit association established in Belgium. Its main objective is to promote the knowledge and efficient use of the 112, the single European Emergency Call Number, all over Europe, by acting as a discussion platform bringing together all the organizations, emergency services, enterprises and individuals involved with the development and implementation of the 112.
Emergency Services Interconnection Forum (ESIF). ESIF is the primary venue for the telecommunications industry, public safety and other stakeholders to generate and refine both technical and operational interconnection issues to ensure life-saving E9-1-1 services are available for everyone in all situations. ESIF's mission is to facilitate the identification and resolution of both technical and operational issues related to the interconnection of telephony and emergency services networks.
European Telecommunications Standards Institute (ETSI) is an independent, non-profit organization, whose mission is to produce telecommunications standards for today and for the future. Based in Sophia Antipolis (France), ETSI is officially responsible for standardization of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) within Europe. These technologies include telecommunications, broadcasting and related areas such as intelligent transportation and medical electronics.
The Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE). The IEEE is a non-profit organization and is the world's leading professional association for the advancement of technology. Through its global membership, the IEEE is a leading authority on areas ranging from aerospace systems, computers and telecommunications to biomedical engineering, electric power and consumer electronics.
Intelligent Transportation Society of America (ITS America). ITS America is the leading advocate for the development and deployment of intelligent transportation systems (ITS) in the U.S. It's members include private corporations, public agencies, academic institutions and research centers. The members share a common goal: to improve the safety, security and efficiency of the nation’s transportation system through the deployment of ITS.
National Emergency Number Association (NENA) was established to promote implementation and awareness of 9-1-1 as North America's universal emergency number. NENA's Mission is to foster the technological advancement, availability and implementation of a universal emergency telephone number system (9-1-1).NENA promotes research, planning, training and education. The protection of human life, the preservation of property, and the maintenance of general community security are among NENA's objectives.

OMA facilitates global user adoption of mobile data services by specifying market driven mobile service enablers that ensure service interoperability across devices, geographies, service providers, operators, and networks, while allowing businesses to compete through innovation and differentiation.
