Mobility Solutions for the Automotive World - Increasing Roadway Safety

For the last 10 years TechnoCom has been working with road infrastructure integrators and wireless mobile carriers to bring reliable wireless technology to the market. TechnoCom’s Mobility Solutions business unit provides software solutions and services designed for the transportation and automotive industries. Our customers include systems integrators, automotive equipment manufacturers and suppliers, and federal, state and local government agencies within the Mobile Communications, Telematics, Vehicle Infrastructure Integration (VII), Dedicated Short Range Communications (DSRC), Infotainment and Public Safety markets.

In collaboration with the automotive industry and U.S Department of Transportation (DOT), TechnoCom has been a pioneer in the standardization of DSRC, which uses modified WiFi technology, and offers communication data rates from 3 to 54 Mbps. TechnoCom is a leader in the development of DSRC’s networking and management protocols through the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) and supports standardization of secure, anonymous communications for the DSRC user. The Mobility Solutions unit also offers software implementation of the IEEE 1609 DSRC WAVE high-performance secure communication protocol optimized to the vehicle communication environment.
